These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Ahh Maa website, subscription service, and meal kits. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Eligibility & Account Creation
To order from Ahh Maa, customers must create an account, guest checkout is not available. While there is no strict minimum age, all users must accept these Terms and are responsible for all activity associated with their account.
2. Subscription Model & Order Management
Ahh Maa operates on a flexible two tier subscription model. You can pause, skip, or cancel your subscription at any time via your account dashboard. There are no lock-in contracts or commitment periods. Orders can also be managed and edited up to six weeks in advance.
All orders must be confirmed by Thursday at 11:59 pm (AEST) to be included in the following week’s delivery. After this cutoff, changes will apply to the next eligible delivery.
3. Pricing & Payment
All prices listed on our website are inclusive of GST where applicable. We accept payments via credit card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Payments are automatically processed at the weekly cutoff time (Thursday 11:59 pm AEST) for the following week’s delivery.
4. Delivery Terms
Ahh Maa delivers across Metro Melbourne from Monday to Friday. You can select your delivery day and time during checkout based on availability in your postcode. We do not deliver to PO boxes or rural areas as of now.
You’ll receive real-time GPS tracking and SMS/email notifications once your delivery is on the way. Notifications are sent via SMS and email once the parcel has been successfully delivered to the intended recipient. If you’re located in an apartment or secure building, please provide clear delivery instructions. If you do not provide Authority to Leave (ATL), someone must be present to receive the box. If delivery cannot be completed due to access restrictions and no ATL was given, your box will be returned to our Croydon South warehouse.
5. Authority to Leave & Unattended Deliveries
During checkout, you must indicate whether you’re happy for your box to be left unattended. If you select “Yes”, your box will be left at the specified location at your risk. Please ensure the location is secure, shaded, and safe.
If you select “No”, you or someone else must be available to accept the delivery. If no one is home and delivery cannot be completed, the box will be returned to our Croydon South warehouse. Due to the perishable nature of our products, redelivery is not available and refunds will not be issued.
However, you may arrange to pick up your box within 2 days of the original delivery by emailing info@ahhmaa.com.au
6. Packaging & Storage
All Ahh Maa Boxes are sealed and packed securely to maintain freshness during transit. We pack all chilled items with insulation and ice packs to keep your items chilled during delivery, so everything stays fresh until it reaches your doorstep. Our packaging is tested to maintain safe temperatures for up to 24 hours from dispatch. Please refrigerate your items as soon as possible upon receiving your box.
7. Ordering and Meal Selection
Customers are responsible for updating their weekly meal selections by the specified cutoff time each week (Thursday 11:59pm AEST).
If no meal selections are made before the cutoff, Ahh Maa will default to the same selection from your previous delivery. If any items are unavailable or out of stock, Ahh Maa reserves the right to substitute with a similar meal of equal or greater value.
Customers with specific dietary requirements are strongly encouraged to adjust their meal selection in their customer dashboard prior to the cutoff to ensure suitable meals are provided.
8. Refunds, Returns & Store Credit
Refunds or store credit may be issued if your box is damaged, incorrect, or incomplete, but only in cases where the issue occurred before delivery was completed.
You must contact us at info@ahhmaa.com.au within 48 hours of receiving your order and include photo evidence of the issue.
Please note: We do not offer refunds or store credit for damage that occurs after delivery has been completed (e.g. if the parcel is left unattended and is damaged, stolen, or tampered with). It is the customer’s responsibility to check the condition of the parcel when it is delivered.
9. Allergens & Dietary Information
We strive to accommodate a variety of dietary needs and clearly label allergens in all our recipes and ingredients. However, all Ahh Maa meals are prepared in facilities that may handle common allergens, including; Wheat, Gluten, Soy, Sesame, Dairy, Eggs, Fish & Crustacean.
Cross-contamination may occur. If you have a dietary restriction or allergy, we recommend reviewing all listed ingredients and packaging before preparing or consuming your meal. Please contact us with any concerns before placing your order.
10. Promotions & Discount Codes
Promotional codes cannot be combined unless specifically stated. Most promotions apply to first-time customers only, though occasional offers may be available to existing customers via social media or email.
All discount codes have an expiry date and are subject to specific terms and conditions. We recommend reviewing the fine print of each promotion before use.
11. User Content & Community Contributions
Customers are welcome to submit reviews, feedback, and photos of their meals. By doing so, you grant Ahh Maa the right to repost, use, or share your content on our website, social media, or marketing platforms. We reserve the right to remove any inappropriate or misleading content.
12. Privacy & Data
Your privacy is important to us. All personal information is collected, stored, and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we manage your data and communication preferences.
13. Intellectual Property
All recipes, copy, logos, photographs, and designs featured on the Ahh Maa website or packaging are intellectual property of Ahh Maa. You may not reproduce, republish, or reuse our content without written permission.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ahh Maa is not responsible for delivery delays, loss, or damage arising from circumstances beyond our control. This includes deliveries where Authority to Leave was granted, or where health concerns arise from the consumption of ingredients. Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredients and using their discretion when preparing meals.
15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Victoria.
