Honouring Tradition, Inspiring Home Cooking
AHHTHENTIC RECIPES FOR BUSY LIVES
FAMILY RECIPE
Ahh Maa was born from a father’s desire to pass down home- cooked meals and cultural heritage to the next generation. What began in our family kitchen has grown into a mission to help others reconnect with authentic Asian flavours through thoughtfully crafted meal kits.
Every dish we offer is a celebration of tradition, made simple for modern life, featuring recipes, ingredients and stories that honour the cultures they come from. The name Ahh Maa means “grandma”which is a tribute to the generations of home cooks who came before us and the flavours they lovingly passed down.

MEET AMY
Amy is the daughter of Matt and co-founder of Ahh Maa. The idea of Ahh Maa was sparked when Matt realised she had reached her twenties without learning how to cook the traditional meals he grew up with. Wanting to preserve traditional cooking and share her dad’s incredible food with the world, Amy made the bold decision to resign from her full-time job and bring their family recipes to life. Today, she leads the brand’s vision, driven by a mission to help others reconnect with their culture through food even if they’re just starting out in the kitchen.
MEET MATT
Matt is the founder, head chef and the heart behind Ahh Maa. A passionate home cook, Matt has always expressed love through food, cooking from instinct and memory. For him, cooking is more than just preparing a meal. It is a way of bringing people together. Even after long workdays, he would come home and cook for his family simply because he found joy in it. When he realised that his kids like many in their generation, had not learned how to cook the traditional dishes he grew up with, he began writing everything down. What started as a way to preserve family recipes turned into a mission to share the food of his childhood with others. Through Ahh Maa, Matt is bringing authentic, home style Asian cooking to kitchens everywhere, one meal kit at a time.

WHAT THEY ARE SAYING
I was so excited when I heard Ahh Maa was launching. This is near and dear to my heart as this is the only food delivery service showcasing Asian meals and I love the story behind this company not wanting delicious Asian cooking and recipes to be lost with each new generation.
The delivery came with no issues and all ingredients accounted for. The ingredients were fresh and the recipe cards were very easy to follow. The meals we created in our own kitchen were simply stunning. The flavours were so authentic they brought me right back to my childhood. Flavours, ingredients, cooking was 10/10 and I can’t wait to see what new recipes will be featured next.
I cannot begin to express my excitement! For the longest time, I have been wondering why is there no Asian version of fresh food and recipe packages?
I know why. Because Asian recipes require a lot of ingredient, so it's almost impossible to provide everything we need.
But Ahh Maa made it happen! I am so super impressed! Their recipes are easy to follow, and ingredients are so fresh!
I know where to turn to when I cannot be bothered to think about what to cook and worry about grocery shopping!
Also, what a great idea for young people to learn how to cook their own meals when they miss mum's Asian home cooked meals!
Loved AhhMaa’s meals! Super delicious and so easy to put together! I especially loved the Peking Duck kit, it was so easy to make and so quick (making it from scratch would take FOREVER), and the results were just as good as Peking Ducks in high-end restaurants!
See More...Would definitely recommend Ahh Maa to my family and friends. Super convenient and can genuinely say the flavours are authentic. Best part for me is that the ingredients are all portioned, so I don't have to worry about wasting ingredients, which is something I always struggle with when cooking.
